Okay, working on a polemic type piece and rerecorded audio track today. It came out well with rewrites from the original. I'm going to post the video as soon as I have finished editing. I am working out of the Bedford Community Access TV studio so it will be broadcast there and on YouTube as well. It's pretty good I think, but we will see...
Meanwhile, I am a pretty unhappy person today, having had a riproaring argument with my soon-to-be x spouse the way it looks. Having young children involved makes all this a real nightmare. Where I will live is unknown, but my work, my children, close family members, and a few good friends give me some peace. I guess that's all I can expect.
This has been one hell of a weird life so far! I am very concerned about the world situation and the ongoing horeshit that is going on in our country. I am interested in the upcoming election only inasmuch as my hope that the winner will slow down the Bilderburgers plans for world domination (no it is not simply a conspiracy nut's paranoia). Look around tell me what you see. I see an ongoing horror show akin to Armageddon or whatever you like. This has been going on for some years. I'd probably start with WWI as a good beginning point for our current genocidal, disaster, and disease prone species and planet. So if you're one of those who is wondering when it will happen, believe me, it is well under way. I am a studier of the Mayan predictive calender which chronicles the development of consciousness here and ends with a major paradigm shift in consciousness in 2012. Visit calleman.com in this regard. It gives a good explanation of the whole thing. Whether one believes in such things or not, it is a fascinating view of the human condition here on earth.
On the other hand I am looking to simply survive in a world gone terribly wrong, and to see to it that my loved ones survive as well. More as it happens...

My name is Alex Herwitz. I am 57 years old, born November 15, 1950. So, I am a "boomer" so-called, but I have little use for being pigeon-holed in that or any other way. I am an artist. Yeah, it is kind of a fancy name, and also has a lot of connotations good and bad, but it is the best I can do at the moment. I am also into Bucky Fulleresque Design Science. I will post the latest document on Design Science for anyone who is interested. Don't be put off by the rather -complex language. Bucky was not trying to be unclear, but he was creating a new way of speaking about his work and ideas. It has subsequently been added to by a number of different folks, but is mostly the brain-child of Michael Ben-Eli student and friend to Bucky (you can google Michael and you will come up with a variety of references to his vital work in the world. If you google my name you will come up with references to my connection to Michael's work through a Buckminster Fuller Institute forum on the definition of sustainability).

Also, I am apparently really into hyphenated words and names! Oh well...
I will be posting art and film pieces, photography, poetry, writing pieces, comedy, and ongoing info on the Sustainability Initiative I am working on. The sustainability stuff is probably the most important project I am working on, and has far-reaching potential.
So, we'll see, but I hope to put all sorts of interesting content as i go along. However, you can probably expect all sorts of ramblings since we live in such "interesting times!" Love to you all.
